‘Patriot’ Memoir Release
A posthumous memoir titled ‘Patriot’ by Alexei Navalny is scheduled to be published on October 22 by US publisher Alfred A. Knopf. The memoir, completed before Navalny’s passing in a Russian prison in 2024, provides a detailed account of his life, activism, and dedication to the cause of Russian democracy.
Collaboration on Manuscript
Yulia Navalnaya is working with publishers to finalize the manuscript of ‘Patriot,’ highlighting that it serves as a testament to Alexei’s life and his relentless fight against dictatorship, for which he sacrificed everything, including his life.
“The memoir narrates his entire life journey: from his youth, activism, marriage, and family, to his unwavering commitment to Russian democracy and freedom despite facing opposition from a powerful world superpower,” stated Knopf. “It reflects Navalny’s firm belief that change is inevitable and unstoppable.”
