During a visit to the UK last year, Ferrell watched several matches, including Manchester City’s victory over Aston Villa. He also witnessed Wrexham’s win against Wealdstone, a club owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, as well as QPR’s match against Sunderland.
Leeds, who narrowly missed out on automatic promotion to the Premier League, are now gearing up for the play-offs. After their final Championship game, they will face Norwich in the semi-finals as they aim to secure a spot in the top flight.
