Why Britain’s Got Talent Fans Are Booing Bruno Tonioli

Viewers Speculate on Bruno Tonioli’s Reception

Britain’s Got Talent viewers believe they’ve figured out the real reason behind Bruno Tonioli being ‘booed’ during the live shows. After weeks of auditions, the competition is now down to the pointy end, with five semi-finals airing this week to decide the acts for this weekend’s final. So far Innocent Masuku, the Ssaulabi Performance Troupe, Haribow, and Jack Rhodes have already made it through their semi-finals, with another three to go over the next three nights.

Confusion Among Viewers

  • Some viewers noticed what seemed like boos directed at Bruno Tonioli during the show.
  • Speculations arose about the audience’s reaction to Bruno’s comments.
  • Contrasting opinions emerged regarding the reception Bruno received.

Despite offering praise to the acts, the former Strictly Come Dancing judge appeared to get a frosty reception from the Hammersmith Apollo audience during the long-running ITV show’s second semi-final, which aired on Tuesday night.

Clarification of Audience Response

However, some audience members clarified that the crowd was actually chanting “Bruno! Bruno!” rather than booing him. Edward, who was present in the audience, explained the situation.

Another judge, Alesha Dixon, faced a similar situation when the crowd reacted strongly to her feedback on a performance by shadow act Matteo Fraziano.

Upcoming Schedule

Britain’s Got Talent live semi-finals will air each day until Friday at 8pm, with Sunday’s final at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
