- The U.S. Central Command reported that the Houthis fired four anti-ship ballistic missiles towards the M/V Huang Pu, a Chinese-owned oil tanker.
- A fifth missile was directed at the oil tanker, leading to a distress call being issued.
- No casualties were reported, and a fire on board the oil tanker was successfully extinguished.
U.S. Response
Following the missile launches, U.S. forces engaged with six Houthi unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the area.
- Five of the UAVs crashed into the Red Sea.
- One UAV flew inland into Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.
