The family’s Instagram post read, ‘With profound grief and sorrow, we hereby declare the sad and untimely demise of Abhradeep Saha AKA #AngryRantman.’

In January, Saha shared that he was in the intensive care unit, signaling a period of absence from his online presence. The statement highlighted his impact, stating, ‘He touched the lives of millions with his honesty, humor, and unwavering spirit.’
His health deteriorated rapidly in the weeks leading up to his passing, with the family revealing he was in a critical condition and placed on life support.

Following the news, an outpouring of sympathy flooded social media, with sports teams like Bengaluru FC and Kerala Blasters FC expressing their sorrow and honoring Saha’s passion for Indian football.
Bengaluru FC shared, ‘A West Block Blue through and through, Abhradeep’s love for the game knew no bounds and the passion in his rants will be missed. Rest in peace.’
Kerala Blasters FC mourned ‘the loss of one of the most enthusiastic and passionate voices in Indian football,’ adding, ‘We will dearly miss his memorable rants and love for the beautiful game.’
