Apartment Building Bomb Blast (1999)
- In September 1999, a bomb blast occurred at an eight-storey apartment building in southeast Moscow, resulting in the death of 118 people.
- Five attacks on apartment buildings took place in southern Russia and Moscow within a two-week period, claiming the lives of 293 individuals.
- Moscow attributed these attacks to separatists from the Muslim North Caucasus republic of Chechnya.
Theatre Hostage Incident (2002)
- In October 2002, Chechen rebels stormed the Dubrovka theatre in Moscow during a musical performance, taking over 800 people hostage.

Rock Concert Attack (2003)

Domodedovo Airport Suicide Bombing (2011)
- In January 2011, a suicide bomber targeted Moscow Domodedovo International Airport, resulting in the deaths of 37 people.
- The Caucasus Emirate group claimed responsibility for this deadly attack.
