Thibaut Courtois Excluded from Belgium’s Euro 2024 Squad

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has not been included in Belgium’s Euro 2024 squad. The 32-year-old has been sidelined for most of the season due to a knee injury that required surgery.

Replacement Goalkeepers

Belgium’s national team coach, Domenico Tedesco, has opted for alternative goalkeeping options, selecting Wolfsburg’s Koen Casteels, Luton’s Thomas Kaminski, and Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels in Courtois’ absence.

Notable Inclusions

The squad features prominent Premier League players such as Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku, Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard, Aston Villa’s Youri Tielemans, Leicester’s Wout Faes, and Fulham’s Timothy Castagne.

Euro 2024 Campaign

Belgium, who exited the group stage of the 2022 World Cup, will kick off their Euro 2024 journey against Slovakia on June 17th.
