Woman Jailed and Banned for Stalking Harry Styles

A woman named Myra Carvalho, aged 35, has been sentenced to 14 weeks in prison for stalking Harry Styles, the former One Direction star. The sentencing took place at Harrow Crown Court in London, where Carvalho pleaded guilty to the charge of stalking involving serious alarm or distress.

Harry Styles was reportedly deeply affected by Carvalho’s actions, which disrupted his usual day-to-day activities. The incident occurred shortly after Styles returned from a holiday with his girlfriend Taylor Russell.

The court was informed that Carvalho had sent the 8,000 cards, some hand-delivered and others through a third-party company online. She expressed sexual urges towards Styles and had traveled from Brazil to pursue him. Her barrister mentioned that she was suffering from a ‘manic episode’ at the time.
