Sir Jim Ratcliffe Cleans House at Man Utd

Manchester United’s New Stakeholder’s ‘New Broom’ Approach

Manchester United’s new minority stakeholder, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is taking a hands-on approach to improving the club’s facilities. Since acquiring a 27.7 percent stake in February, the Ineos boss has been implementing significant changes to enhance the club’s operations.

Clean Up Order

Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently sent an email to staff expressing his concern over the untidiness at Old Trafford and the Carrington training complex. He specifically highlighted the IT department as “a disgrace” and emphasized the need for higher standards.

Focus on Standards

Having brought in new top-tier management and aiming to fill key positions, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is determined to instill the high standards that are synonymous with Ineos. He believes that maintaining discipline and setting clear standards are essential for the success of an elite organization like Manchester United.

Improving Facilities

During a tour of the facilities, Sir Jim Ratcliffe noted several areas that require immediate attention, including the dressing rooms of the Under-18s and Under-21s. He emphasized that the current standards do not meet the expectations set by Ineos and stressed the importance of upholding excellence.

Manchester United is on a path to raising its standards under the leadership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is determined to bring the club in line with the high operational benchmarks of Ineos.
