The Largest Salvador Dali Sculpture Displayed in Ireland
The largest Salvador Dali sculpture ever displayed in Ireland is set to be featured at the country’s biggest art and sculpture event, Art and Soul.
Dance of Time II
Dance of Time II, valued at €1.1 million, was unveiled at Cork’s Castlemartyr resort. This 405kg, 1.5-meter high bronze sculpture showcases Dali’s enduring, melting clocks motif.
Event Details
The event will also showcase works by Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst, hosted by Gormleys at the five-star resort. Oliver Gormley of Gormleys described Dali’s iconic melted clock as a representation of the ever-present fluidity of time, dancing in rhythm to the beat of the universe.
