Ronnie O’Sullivan showcased his skill as he defeated Lyu Haotian to secure a spot in the last 16 of the World Open in Yushan.
The world number one, after a shaky performance in the previous round against Michael White, regained his form and overcame the resilient world number 28.
Lyu Haotian managed to level the game twice in the initial four frames, but O’Sullivan’s determination prevailed. He sealed the victory with impressive breaks of 106 and 96 in the final three frames, setting up a clash with Hossein Vafaei.
