Abby of the conjoined twins, Abby and Brittany, is now married
The famous conjoined twins Abby and Brittany have great news for their fans. Abby is said to have been married for some years now. The twins who got famous after they appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996 and went on to host their own TLC reality series where they documented their lives, have revealed that Abby has been leading a blissful married life with partner Josh Bowling.
Abby’s Marriage
The conjoined twin Abby married Josh in a ceremony in 2021. Josh is a nurse and US Army veteran.
The good news came out when Abby Hensl changed her Facebook profile picture, which she shares with her sister Brittany. The image seems to be from her wedding as the conjoined twins can be seen wearing a wedding dress. Josh can be seen wearing a grey suit. In the profile picture, they are seen holding hands while looking at each other.
Who are Abby and Brittany?
The conjoined twins work as fifth-grade teachers. They reside in Minnesota, a place where they were born and raised. A lot of their teaching videos go viral all the time. In a video shared by Daily Mail on Instagram, the twins can be seen teaching a classroom full of kids and talking about their lives on the reality show they are famous for. The publication wrote, “Twin Abby is now married as she secretly tied the knot to her veteran boyfriend Josh Bowling,” the outlet wrote alongside the video.
Abby and Brittany are dicephalus conjoined twins which means that they share their organs from below the waist. While Abby can control their right arm and leg, Brittany can do so for the left side. The twins were born in 1990 to parents Patty and Mike Hensel. Their parents decided against getting them separated since the doctors suggested it was difficult and there was no surety that either would survive the procedure.
