Peter Andre Welcomes New Baby Girl
Peter Andre is still very much living in the baby bubble after wife Emily gave birth to their beautiful daughter earlier this month. However, the little one remains nameless! Peter, 51, married Emily, 34, in 2015 and he’s now a dad to five children: son Junior, 18, and 16-year-old daughter Princess with his ex-wife Katie Price, and nine-year-old daughter Amelia and son Theo, six, with Emily.
Excitement Over the New Arrival
On April 3, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker announced that Emily had given birth the day before, saying the doting parents ‘couldn’t be happier’.
Adorable Moments Shared
Taking to social media again today (April 24), the Aussie pop star shared the most adorable video of him cuddling up to his baby girl. With Ed Sheeran’s Photograph playing in the background, Peter kisses the newborn on her head, strokes her face, and tells her how ‘perfect’ she is.
The Name Dilemma
He also jokes that he’s a ‘dab hand’ at parenting a newborn now, adding in his caption: ‘The love I have for our baby is one thing. The love I have for Emily is another love altogether.’ ‘What an incredible mum she is and what a truly beautiful gift she has given us,’ he praised. ‘We all love bubba so much. And she STILL has no name 😬’, Peter wrote.
- Fans’ Suggestions:
- Athena or Ophelia
- Charlotte or Charlie
In the comments, fans offered some suggestions after Peter and Emily previously asked for their followers’ input while struggling to decide on a name.
The Naming Process
Speaking previously about the delay in naming their baby, Peter told OK! Magazine: ‘We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy! Anytime Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside. ‘She is recovering, after all, so I totally get it.’
He added: ‘We have less than four weeks left before we have to register her. I took our baby for a walk in her pram for the first time to drop Millie and Theo at school. ‘It’s beautiful to do these things all over again.’
Peter noted how he and Emily often aren’t on the same page when it comes to baby names. ‘We’ve been trying out names that our friends and family have suggested, but then Emily and I don’t seem to agree on them. ‘So I think it’s only fair that Emily decides – I hope she picks a good one.’
No pressure, Emily! ‘While we work a name out, we’re just trying to differentiate between day and night. The lack of sleep is real already!’
