Paris Hilton Faces Pressure to Share Daughter London on Social Media
Paris Hilton has faced major pressure from followers to show her daughter London in her social media posts, and her husband Carter Reum has now finally explained why they haven’t. The Hilton heiress, 43, is mum to two children: son Phoenix, one, and daughter London, who she welcomed in November last year with husband Carter.
Paris Hilton’s Social Media Presence
Reality star and author Paris has always been a major user of social media, keeping fans up to date with her life and career in showbiz, and this didn’t change when she welcomed her firstborn Phoenix. Horrifically, cruel trolls descended on Paris’ photos of her son, mocking the size of his head and leading her to hit back admitting the awful comments ‘hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe’.
Paris Hilton’s Response
Paris still regularly posts the adorable toddler on Instagram and TikTok, however since announcing the arrival of daughter London in November, has not posted a photo of the newborn and rarely even references her in her online uploads. It’s led to waves and waves of comments on practically every video or post that Paris makes, demanding Paris shows her baby, despite the cruelty the family endured with their son.
Carter Reum’s Explanation
Carter himself has also spoken out about the pressure to show their daughter’s face, and has explained why they haven’t yet. Responding to a comment on Instagram declaring they can’t wait to see a photo of London, Carter said they were ‘not quite ready to share her [with] the world’. He added: ‘But she’s adorable and looks just like her mamma.’
Paris Hilton’s Announcement and Response
Paris announced on Thanksgiving in the US that she had welcomed a daughter, making the reveal with a simple announcement: a photo of a tiny pink outfit, a knitted bunny and red sunglasses with the word ‘London’. She wrote in the caption: ‘Thankful for my baby girl.’ Paris had previously revealed she had always wanted a daughter named London.
Paris Hilton’s Stance Against Trolls
Paris shared a devastating post last October pleading with people to stop the cruel comments about her son, emphasizing the importance of love, respect, and acceptance. She condemned the cruel criticism on TikTok, insisting that her son is ‘perfectly healthy’ despite the hurtful remarks.
