US comedian and presenter Nick Cannon recently shared that his two-year-old son, Zillion Heir, has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This revelation was made by Cannon and Abby De La Rosa on World Autism Awareness Day, emphasizing the importance of understanding and acceptance.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Cannon and De La Rosa expressed their admiration for their son’s unique perspective on life. They described Zillion Heir as a source of love, strength, and brilliance, comparing him to historical figures like Nikola Tesla, Sir Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, and Michelangelo.

De La Rosa shared her journey of navigating the diagnosis process, highlighting the difficulties and the need for constant advocacy. She mentioned the adjustments the family made to support Zillion Heir’s sensory needs, such as organizing a special Easter egg hunt that he enjoyed.
A Family’s Journey
Cannon and De La Rosa are parents to twin boys Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, as well as daughter Beautiful Zeppelin. Cannon also has children from previous relationships, including twins Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey, and other children with different partners.
In 2021, Cannon faced the tragic loss of his son Zen to brain cancer. Despite the challenges, he remains dedicated to his family and continues to advocate for autism awareness and acceptance.
