Manchester United Announces Changes in Executive Leadership

Manchester United has revealed that interim chief executive Patrick Stewart and chief financial officer Cliff Baty will be departing from the club at the conclusion of the current season.

New Appointments

Jean-Claude Blanc, the chief executive of United’s minority owners Ineos Sport, will be taking over Patrick Stewart’s position until July 13. After that, Omar Berrada, set to arrive from Manchester City, will assume the role.

Meanwhile, Roger Bell, former CFO at Ineos Sport, will be stepping into Cliff Baty’s shoes.

Statements from Leadership

Sir Jim Ratcliffe expressed his gratitude towards Patrick and Cliff for their contributions to the club and their assistance in the transition period. He acknowledged their decision to move on and welcomed the establishment of a new management team.

Joel Glazer extended his appreciation to Patrick and Cliff for their dedicated service to Manchester United. He commended their invaluable advice and expertise, highlighting Patrick’s significant role as interim CEO during the period of transition.
