Details of the Incident
In a harrowing incident in Las Vegas, Nevada, a 29-year-old man fatally attacked another person in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store. The attacker, identified as Colin Czech, allegedly chewed the victim’s ear and eyeball after causing his death by bashing him and hitting his head on the concrete.
Accused Claims to be ‘Possessed’
According to media reports, Czech later told the police that he was ‘possessed’ by a ‘higher power’ who instructed him to kill a person named Drake. However, in a tragic turn of events, he ended up killing Kenneth Brown instead.
Eye-Witness Reports
- Eye-witnesses near the store made frantic calls to 911 upon witnessing the gruesome incident.
- One witness described the scene as “some weird s***” and expressed shock at the attacker’s actions.
- A 7-Eleven employee reported seeing Czech behaving erratically, likening him to a dog about to rush into the store.
Police Response
Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene to find Czech covered in blood and ‘biological matter’ on his face, hands, mouth, and clothing. When questioned about the events, Czech remained unresponsive and gave a blank stare.
Legal Proceedings
Czech, believed to be homeless, claimed to have been ‘possessed’ due to sleep deprivation. During his appearance in Las Vegas Justice Court, his lawyer argued that he was mentally incompetent to stand trial, citing his bizarre facial expressions as evidence.
The accused is currently detained at the Clark County Detention Center.
