Man in the United States Decapitates Employer After Embezzling $400,000 to Conceal Theft from Girlfriend

Disturbing Story of Tyrese Haspil Beheading His Boss

Background

25-year-old Tyrese Haspil tasered and beheaded his boss, Fahim Saleh, after stealing $400,000 to hide his theft from his girlfriend.

The Crime

In January 2020, Saleh, the CEO of Gokada, discovered $90,000 missing from a corporate account and confronted Haspil about it. Haspil, fearing his girlfriend would leave him if she found out, decided to take extreme measures.

The Murder

Haspil gained entry to Saleh’s apartment, tasered and killed him. His defense attorney argued that Haspil was under extreme emotional disturbance at the time.

The Motive

Prosecutors revealed that Haspil was worried about being abandoned by his girlfriend and saw only two options: suicide or homicide. He chose the latter to cover up his theft.

The Cover-Up

After the murder, Haspil used Saleh’s credit cards to buy supplies for cleaning up the crime scene. However, he left behind evidence that led to his arrest.

Discovery of the Body

Saleh’s cousin found his dismembered body in the living room, leading to the arrest of Haspil.
