Katie Taylor to Defend Undisputed World Light-Welterweight Title Against Amanda Serrano
Katie Taylor is gearing up for what she calls “the rematch the world has been eagerly anticipating.” The undisputed world light-welterweight champion is set to defend her title against Amanda Serrano on July 20th.
Historic Rematch at 140lbs
Two years ago, Taylor and Serrano made history as the first female fighters to headline at Madison Square Garden. Taylor emerged victorious in their previous encounter with a split decision in a thrilling lightweight bout. The upcoming rematch will take place at 140lbs and will serve as the co-main event to the highly anticipated Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

The rematch will be broadcast by Netflix, a streaming platform with over 260 million paid memberships worldwide. This marks the third live sports event to be showcased by Netflix, following a celebrity golf event and a tennis exhibition earlier this year.
