During the jury selection process, the juror was selected along with six others. These payments were related to a “hush money” agreement with adult film star Stormy Daniels.
Trump has denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty, suggesting that the case is politically motivated. The trial marks the first criminal trial of a former U.S. president.
