Israeli Forces Reportedly Shoot and Kill Two Unarmed Palestinians in Gaza, One Holding a White Flag

A report by Al Jazeera revealed that two Palestinian men were shot dead by Israeli soldiers near the Nabulsi Roundabout, southwest of Gaza City. The men were attempting to return to their homes in the north of Gaza via the al-Rashid street.

  • The video footage obtained by Al Jazeera depicted the two men being buried in sand and rubbish by an Israeli army bulldozer.

Reactions and Condemnations

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called for a United Nations (UN) investigation into the incident, criticizing Israel for its treatment of Palestinians.

Hamas condemned the killings and urged the International Criminal Court (ICC) to hold Israel accountable for its actions.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) expressed frustration over the lack of international response to such crimes committed by Israel.

Israeli Response

The Israeli army claimed that the video footage was edited and did not provide the full context of the incident. They called for a thorough examination to understand the details accurately.
