Reactions to Raisi’s Death

Following the confirmation of Raisi’s death, reactions varied across Iran. While some mourned and prayed for his safe return, others, particularly opponents of the regime, celebrated his demise.

Opposition Celebrations in Germany

Iranian opposition members in Germany expressed their jubilation outside the Berlin embassy. Holding placards denouncing Raisi and referring to him as a “blood judge,” they marked the occasion with visible signs of protest.

Social Media Reactions

Activists such as Masih Alinejad, known for her advocacy in women’s rights, shared their sentiments on social media platforms, expressing satisfaction over Raisi’s death. Videos and images circulated online depicted fireworks and celebratory activities in defiance of Iran’s authoritarian regime.

Security Measures in Iran

As celebrations intensified, security forces in Tehran increased their presence to maintain order and suppress the festivities. Reports indicated the deployment of riot police in various cities to prevent any unrest.

Mourning and Official Response
