An Iranian teen who disappeared during the 2022 Iran protests was reportedly sexually assaulted and beaten to death by Iranian security officials, according to a secret document revealed by BBC.
According to reports, Shakarami was brutally tortured in the back of a van by members of the Iranian security forces. They used batons and Taser guns on her before sexually assaulting her and abandoning her body on a street.
