Iran Announces Presidential Elections Date
Iran has announced that it will hold presidential elections on June 28. The decision comes following the tragic helicopter crash that resulted in the death of President Ebrahim Raisi and his entourage.
Election Calendar Approval
State television reported that the election calendar was approved during a meeting of the heads of the judiciary, government, and parliament. The Guardian Council’s initial agreement determined the date for the 14th presidential election to be on June 28.
