Issue Details

  • More than 5,000 users reported difficulty logging into the app.
  • The United States had the highest number of affected users.
  • 70% of users experienced login issues.
  • 19% encountered app-related problems.
  • 11% faced server connection issues.

Previous Outages

Previously, both Facebook and Instagram, under Meta’s ownership, experienced a blackout on March 5, leading to automatic logouts for users.
