Tori Spelling, known for her role in Beverly Hills, 90210, has reportedly filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Dean McDermott. The couple, who had been together for around 18 years, decided to split in June. They share five children together named Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau.
Details of the Divorce
In court documents obtained by People Magazine, Tori listed the date of their separation as June 17, 2023, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their break-up. She is seeking sole physical custody of their children, with joint legal custody with Dean. Additionally, Tori has requested spousal support while preventing Dean from requesting the same from her. She is also asking for him to cover her attorney’s fees.
The Couple’s History
Tori and Dean met on the set of the TV movie Mind Over Murder in 2005 and got married the following year, shortly after Tori’s divorce from Charlie Shanian. They welcomed their first child, Liam, in 2007, followed by Stella in 2008, and Hattie in 2011. Their family grew with the additions of Finn in 2012 and Beau in 2017. Dean also has two children, Jack and Lola, from a previous marriage.
Dean announced their split on Instagram, expressing sadness over the decision but emphasizing their commitment to co-parenting their children. He requested privacy during this challenging time.
