Christine McGuinness, known for her role in The Real Housewives of Cheshire, shared the heartbreaking news of her grandmother’s passing on Easter Sunday. Taking to Instagram on March 31, she posted a touching tribute to her beloved ‘Nan’ who had passed away.

In her Instagram post, Christine shared a picture of her late grandmother and wrote, “My Nan got her angel wings. I know wherever she is, she will be knitting and watching LFC. Finally at peace.”

Messages of condolences poured in from fans and fellow celebrities, with Denise Welch leaving three love hearts in the comments and Duncan James from Blue sending his love.

Challenges Amidst Personal Turmoil

This loss comes at a challenging time for Christine McGuinness, who recently revealed uncertainties about her life’s direction following her split from her long-term partner and ex-husband, Paddy McGuinness, the host of Take Me Out.

The couple, who continue to reside together in their family home in Cheshire but maintain separate bedrooms, share three children – Leo, Penelope, and Felicity. The children, who have autism, are unaware of their parents’ separation, as the duo strives to maintain normalcy post their 2022 split.

Appearing on the show Pilgrimage: The Road Through North Wales, Christine expressed her struggle with the changes in her life, stating, “The only life I’ve known is with Patrick, and I’m not sure what my path is now that I’m on my own. I need to figure it out.”

Reflecting on her past and future, Christine shared her apprehensions about embracing significant changes and the fear that accompanies them.

Embracing a New Chapter

Christine McGuinness, who married Patrick in 2011 at the age of 19, recently disclosed that she is not considering another marriage in the near future. She emphasized the importance of self-discovery and personal growth during this period of her life.

In a podcast interview, Christine mentioned that both she and Patrick are navigating this new phase of their lives with openness and honesty, acknowledging their uncertainties about the future.
