Islamic State Releases Visuals of Moscow Concert Hall Attack
The jihadist group Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for the deadly terror attack on a Moscow concert hall and released visuals of the incident. The minute-and-a-half-long video shows individuals with blurred faces armed with knives and assault rifles in the lobby of the Crocus City Hall concert venue in Krasnogorsk, northwest of the Russian capital.

Putin’s Response to the Attack
During his televised address, Putin promised that all those involved in planning and executing the attack would be punished. He mentioned that four attackers were apprehended while attempting to flee towards Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Zelensky’s Reaction
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Putin for attempting to shift the blame for the attack on Kyiv. Zelensky referred to Putin as a “low-life” and accused Russia of using familiar tactics to deflect responsibility.

The attack took place at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, with a capacity of 7,500 attendees. The terrorists struck the venue shortly before a performance by Russian rock band Picnic.
