Details of the Shooting Incident
Goldy Brar, an internationally recognized gangster allegedly involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, was reportedly shot dead in the US. The incident took place on Tuesday (Apr 30) at around 5:30 pm local time in Fairmont and Holt Avenue, California. Brar was standing outside his house when unidentified attackers opened fire at him and fled the scene. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead.
Unconfirmed Suspects
Reports suggest that Brar’s rivals, Arsh Dalla and Lakbhir, may have been behind the attack. However, other members of their gangs, like Lawrence Bishnoi, have not confirmed these allegations.

Goldy Brar was born in Punjab, India, in 1994, into a family with a background in law enforcement. He was declared a terrorist by the Indian government following the murder of Sidhu Moosewala in 2022. Brar was also believed to have connections with the Babbar Khalsa terrorist organization in Canada and was among Canada’s 25 most wanted individuals.
Brar initially went to Canada in 2017 on a student visa and later permanently moved there in 2021.
Previous Incidents
In a previous incident, Brar’s cousin, Gurlal Brar, was killed outside a nightclub in Chandigarh by unknown assailants. Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility for the attack, citing it as retaliation for the death of Youth Congress leader Gurlal Pahalwan.
