Musk and X could face a fine of 100,000 reais ($19,740) per day if they fail to comply with a court order to block specific accounts. Justice Alexandre de Moraes has instructed X to refrain from disobeying any court order, including reactivating blocked profiles.

He described the blocking order as draconian and encouraged the use of VPNs to access X in Brazil.
