Severe Weather Across Multiple States
The National Weather Service issued warnings as tornadoes were reported across Iowa, affecting towns like Corning, Griswold, Guthrie Center, and Fontanelle. In one incident, a tornado took down several 250-foot wind turbines in Iowa, with at least one catching fire.
Severe weather is expected to continue, moving southwards and impacting parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and southern Missouri in the coming days.
