Zara McDermott Attends Gala Night with Foot Injury
One of the stars of Strictly Come Dancing appears to have revealed that they sustained a foot injury after being spotted wearing a medical boot.
Supporting Graziano Di Prima
On Saturday night, Zara McDermott attended the gala night at London’s Peacock Theatre to support her former Strictly partner Graziano Di Prima on his Believe performance tour. The ex-Love Island star dressed casually for the occasion, wearing leather-look trousers, a white top, and a grey suede blazer.
Foot Injury Speculation
However, she was also seen sporting a boot, indicating that she might have injured her foot in some way. Nonetheless, the 26-year-old appeared to be in good spirits as she attended the event, beaming as she sat inside a taxi and smiling as she left the theatre.
Social Media Silence
Zara, who’s in a relationship with I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Sam Thompson, is yet to say anything on social media about why she was wearing the boot.
Excitement Over Performance Tour
On Saturday, Graziano, 29, expressed his excitement over performing his tour on London’s West End, posting a video of himself and his wife, dancer Giada Lini, outside the theatre.
Supportive Comments
Zara was among those who shared her support in the comment section, stating: ‘What a show.’ Strictly star Giovanni Pernice wrote: ‘Buona fortuna ♥️,’ meaning ‘Good luck’ in Italian, while Vito Coppola added: ‘Ci vediamo staseraaa 🤞😊,’ meaning ‘See you tonight.’
Strictly Come Dancing Journey
In 2023, Zara joined the line-up of Strictly, where she was partnered with Graziano. The pair survived the bottom two twice before eventually becoming the fifth couple to be eliminated from the competition.
Heartfelt Messages
After their exit was confirmed, Zara said: ‘I have had the time of my life. Just to be here is incredible. Thank you to the judges and my amazing partner obviously. My fellow contestants are just incredible. It has been the most amazing experience. I can’t believe it’s over but I am going to be here in spirit every week supporting them.’ Graziano paid tribute to how hard-working Zara had been, stating: ‘You have such a good soul. You are so humble and I say thank you that I found a friend like you. I have learnt so much from you. And your hard work within six weeks. You have never danced before. I am so proud of you. So proud of you honestly.’
