Plot and Characters

Red Eye follows the story of Matthew Nolan, played by Richard Armitage, a doctor accused of a murder in Beijing. As he is being extradited to China, he is accompanied by officer Hana Li, portrayed by Jing Lusi. The plot thickens as they uncover suspicious activities during their journey to Beijing, with journalist Jess Li (Jemma Moore) and MI5’s Madeline Delaney (Lesley Sharp) getting involved in the unfolding conspiracy.

Richard Armitage, known for his role as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit, leads the cast with his impressive acting credits. Jing Lusi, recognized for her role in Crazy Rich Asians, brings her talent to the screen alongside the seasoned Lesley Sharp, a British acting icon with a diverse portfolio of work.
