Bohemians FC to Host Friendly Match with Palestinian Women’s National Team
Tickets for a friendly match between Bohemians FC and the Palestinian women’s national team are now available for purchase. The fixture, set to take place at Bohs’ Dalymount Park on Wednesday, May 15th, aims to raise funds for various charities supporting Palestine.

The Palestinian ambassador to Ireland expressed excitement about the upcoming match, noting that it will be the first time the visiting squad competes in Europe. The event is significant as it coincides with the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, highlighting human rights violations and the plight of Palestinian refugees.
In a statement, the Palestinian ambassador, Jilan Wahba Abdalmajid, shared her pride in bringing the women’s football team to Ireland for the first time. She thanked Bohemian FC for their role in organizing the historic match.
Bohemian FC’s president, Matt Devaney, emphasized the importance of the occasion, aiming to create a memorable experience for the Palestinian team and delegation during their visit to Ireland.
Daniel Lambert, Bohemians’ chief operating officer, mentioned that in addition to the match at Dalymount Park, cultural visits are planned for the Palestinian team and delegation. The support from Dublin businesses and service providers has been instrumental in making this event possible.
Adult tickets for the game are priced at €40, with concession tickets available for €20. For those unable to attend but wishing to contribute, non-attendance tickets can be purchased on Bohemian FC’s ticketing site.
