Data Breach Details

  • The stolen data includes names, addresses, phone numbers, and partial credit card details of 560 million customers.
  • Shiny Hunters have advertised the data for sale at US$500,000 in a one-time offer.

Australian Government’s Response

Assistance from FBI

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has offered its assistance to Canberra in dealing with the cyber crime incident. This collaboration aims to address the security breach and its implications.
