Armagh vs Down: Clash for Ulster Football Final Spot

In the Ulster Senior Football Championship, Armagh and Down will battle it out for a place in the Ulster final. The match is scheduled to start at 5.15pm in Clones.

The women’s football provincial championships are also set to kick off this weekend. In Munster, old rivals Kerry and Cork will clash in Brosna, while Tipperary will welcome Waterford to Bansha.

Hurling

Today in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship, Dublin will be hoping to build on last week’s draw with Wexford as they travel to Netwatch Culen Park to take on Carlow. The match is set to start at 6pm.

Antrim will hope to respond to their previous defeat when they welcome Wexford to Corrigan Park. The game is scheduled to start at 3pm.

In the Joe McDonagh Cup, Meath will host Laois, and Offaly will face Westmeath. Both games are set to start at 3pm.

In other matches, there are three Christy Ring Cup clashes – London hosting Wicklow and Kildare hosting Derry, both starting at 1pm. Tyrone will travel to Sligo for a 3pm start.

In the Nicky Rackard Cup, Louth will host Mayo and Donegal will welcome Monaghan. In the Lory Meagher competition, Longford will play Leitrim and Lancashire will host Cavan.

Premier League

Liverpool will look to bounce back from their recent defeat as they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers for the lunchtime kick-off in the Premier League.

In today’s 3pm kick-offs, Manchester United will host Burnley, Newcastle United will host Sheffield United, Wolves will take on Luton, and Fulham will host Crystal Palace.

The 5.30pm kick-off will see Everton hosting Brentford, while later in the evening Aston Villa will host Chelsea from 8pm.

Rugby

Women’s Six Nations

In today’s Women’s Guinness Six Nations, Ireland will welcome Scotland to Belfast as they aim to secure third spot and a place in next year’s Rugby World Cup.

Today’s earlier game between Italy and Wales will also play a crucial role in determining the standings. The kick-off for Italy vs. Wales is at 12.15pm, while in Belfast the kick-off is at 2.30pm.

Elsewhere, England will travel to France as both teams chase the Grand Slam.

URC

Munster are in South Africa for their clash with the Emirates Lions in the United Rugby Championship today, with the match kicking off at 4pm.

Meanwhile, Leinster will look to bounce back from their previous defeat as they take on DHL Stormers at 6.05pm. Connacht will face the Dragons, with the match kicking off at 8pm.

Snooker

Shaun Murphy resumes his second-round match this morning against Stephen Maguire. Maguire currently leads five frames to three after the first session.

Judd Trump will also aim to secure victory and book his place in the quarter-final. He just needs two more frames to win, leading Tom Ford by 11 frames to five.

Later this afternoon, Mark Allen will take on John Higgins, while Si Jiahui and Jak Jones will resume their meeting. Tonight, Kyren Wilson will face Joe O’Connor and Jack Lisowski will play Stuart Bingham.
