Andre Onana vows Manchester United will ‘battle to the finish’ in FA Cup final

Manchester United’s Determination for FA Cup Glory

Goalkeeper Andre Onana is confident that Manchester United will give their all in the upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester City, aiming to end the season on a high note despite a challenging Premier League campaign.

United’s Victory Against Brighton

United concluded their Premier League season with a 2-0 victory over Brighton, with late goals from Diogo Dalot and Rasmus Hojlund securing the win. However, this result only led to an eighth-place finish, marking the club’s lowest position since 1990.

Looking Ahead to the FA Cup Final

Onana emphasized the importance of winning the FA Cup for the fans who have supported the team throughout the season. He acknowledged the fans’ dedication and expressed gratitude for their unwavering support.

“They are always behind us when we are down so from here we can only thank them for all of their support this year,” Onana stated.

Facing Challenges and Overcoming Setbacks

Despite facing injury setbacks, particularly in defense, United’s players are regaining fitness at a crucial time. Key players like Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane are returning to full strength, boosting the team’s morale ahead of the final.

“We need all our players, we need our fans because it’s going to be a really difficult game,” Onana emphasized, highlighting the importance of unity and support for the upcoming match.
