Joining the BBC, the 49-year-old host of The Bake Off will be hosting “Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend,” where she will spend 48 hours with a well-known personality, undoubtedly bringing her unique brand of chaos along.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Alison said, “I’m so excited to serve up some big lols and tons of OMG revelations on the BBC as I spend some quality time with some of the UK’s favourite celebrities. When I’m on a mission, no secret is safe, and trust me, no stone or cupboard will go unturned.”
Alison’s Broadcasting Portfolio
Alison’s move to the BBC adds to her already extensive broadcasting roles, including hosting This Morning on ITV, The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4, and being a team captain on Sky panel show, Smart TV.
Later this month, she will also take over as the presenter of ITV’s For The Love Of Dogs, succeeding Paul O’Grady. Earlier this year, the BBC reportedly canceled a show with Alison as the host before it began, but she now has her own primetime series dedicated to her.
