Akshata Murty’s earnings have significantly contributed to their rise in wealth ranking. Financial statements indicate that Akshata Murty’s estimated dividends of GBP 13 million in the past year far exceed her husband’s earnings.
The couple’s most valued asset is Akshata Murty’s shareholding in Infosys, a Bangalore-based IT company co-founded by Akshata Murty’s father. The shares have grown in value by GBP 108.8 million over the past year, reaching nearly GBP 590 million.

The Hinduja family retains the top spot on the 2024 ‘Sunday Times Rich List’, with their wealth increasing to GBP 37.196 billion. Their group of companies operates across various sectors in 48 countries, showcasing significant growth and expansion.
