Elon Musk’s Visit to Indonesia for Starlink Launch
Billionaire Elon Musk is set to visit Indonesia to launch SpaceX’s satellite unit Starlink. The launch event is scheduled to take place in Bali, where Musk will sign an agreement on connectivity for the health sector.

Communications Minister Budi Arie Setiadi mentioned that the Starlink launch will be held at a clinic in Bali’s capital Denpasar. Musk’s visit will mark his first in-person trip to the Asian country.
Presence of Indonesian President
Cabinet Minister Luhut Pandjaitan confirmed that Musk will launch Starlink in Bali in the presence of Indonesian President Joko Widodo. Musk will also address the World Water Forum during his visit.

Starlink recently secured a permit to offer its internet services commercially in Indonesia. The company will collaborate with local network access providers to bring internet services to remote areas of the country.
