McDonald’s Mishap: Man Receives Empty Burger Box
In a bizarre turn of events, a man from Kentucky, United States, recently shared his experience of ordering a burger from McDonald’s, only to receive an empty box. The man, identified as Greg, had placed an order for a triple burger with all the ingredients removed, including buns, meat, vegetables, and sauces.
Delivery Mishap
Greg, who ordered the customized burger through Doordash, expressed his concerns about the order accuracy, stating, “Hopefully they don’t mess up my order (usually they do).” To his dismay, the delivery executive informed him in advance that the package would contain nothing inside.
Empty Box Surprise
Upon receiving the sealed package, Greg discovered an empty box of the burger, which was supposed to be a triple burger but was instead packaged in a McCrispy box. He took to social media to share his frustration, posting an image of the empty box with a caption expressing his disappointment.
Generous Gesture
Despite the mix-up, Greg did not hold the Doordash delivery executive responsible and even rewarded him with a five-star review and an $11 tip. This act of generosity garnered attention from other users who found humor in the situation.
“$20 for a nothing burger. Makes sense,” commented one user, to which Greg humorously replied, “The math checks out.” Another user praised Greg’s gesture of tipping the driver for delivering an empty box, to which Greg responded, “He deserved it for not stealing my nothing.”
