The Real-Life Story Behind Baby Reindeer
It’s been quite the month for those involved in the real-life story behind Netflix smash hit Baby Reindeer. Created by Richard Gadd, 34, the popular drama series is said to be based on a true story, following his character Donny after meeting a woman named Martha who slowly becomes obsessed with him. After an initially friendly and innocent encounter, Martha’s actions soon turn sinister as she begins waiting outside Donny’s house, sending him numerous emails, and harassing members of his family.
The ‘Real Martha’ Unveiled
Since the series debuted on Netflix, sleuths apparently tracked down the ‘Real Martha’, who is believed to be a woman called Fiona Harvey. In an interview with Piers Morgan, Fiona, 54, a lawyer, vowed to challenge Richard Gadd and Netflix in the courts, denying that many of the events depicted in the series even took place.
