Rob Marciano Fired Over Behavioral Misconduct
TV weatherman Rob Marciano has reportedly been fired over behavioral misconduct. The Good Morning America meteorologist was taken off air two years ago for anger management issues, it’s been claimed. It’s said he was ‘banned’ for the studio after an incident with a female colleague, with claims he made multiple colleagues ‘feel uncomfortable’. Marciano, 56, has been appearing on the ABC News program and World News Tonight for more than a decade, but he’s now been fired, sources say.
Incident Details
- Sources told The New York Post he was fired on Tuesday for ‘anger management issues’.
- In March 2023, it was claimed Marciano was ‘punished’, with sources telling Page Six: ‘He was found to have done something … that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return.’
- While it’s unclear what transpired between Marciano and the unnamed colleague, another source said there were ‘a number of alarming events’ and that he ‘made people feel uncomfortable’.
Personal Life and Career
It’s said he had been dealing with anger management issues while going through a divorce from his wife Eryn, who he shares two children with and was married to for 11 years. The journalist previously appeared on CNN Worldwide and on Entertainment Tonight, before moving to ABC in 2014.
