Moscow Terror Attack: Response and Actions
Following the devastating terror attack in Moscow at the Crocus City Hall, both Russian and Ukrainian leaders have made strong statements regarding the incident.
Russian President’s Vow for Justice
Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed to take action against the perpetrators of the attack, which claimed the lives of at least 143 people. In a televised address to the nation, Putin emphasized that all those involved in planning and executing the crime would face punishment.
Perpetrators Apprehended
Putin revealed that four attackers who were fleeing towards Ukraine were apprehended. He stated that these individuals were responsible for the heinous act and were attempting to escape to Ukraine after crossing Russian borders.
According to Putin, a total of 11 people were detained in connection with the attack. He expressed gratitude to the medical professionals and security personnel who aided the victims in the aftermath of the tragedy.
Response from Ukrainian President’s Aide
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s aide, Mykhaylo Podolyak, dismissed the versions presented by Russian special services regarding Ukraine as untenable and absurd.
Podolyak emphasized the need for justice for the innocent victims of the terror attack and rejected any claims of Ukrainian involvement in the incident.
Pledge for Unity
Putin assured the nation that all individuals responsible for the attack would be identified and held accountable. He urged unity among the people and emphasized the importance of preventing further acts of violence.
