Australia announced on April 17 that it plans to increase its defence spending by A$50.3 billion ($32 billion) over the next 10 years. Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles, while visiting Lviv, revealed a military aid package for Ukraine amounting to $100 million. The aid includes short-range air defences, drones, and air-to-ground precision munitions. Marles highlighted that this aid is part of Australia’s commitment to supporting the Ukrainian armed forces.
