Flight Forced to Land After Passenger Attempts Suicide
A flight traveling from Thailand to the United Kingdom was compelled to make an emergency landing at London airport after a passenger onboard attempted suicide in a cabin toilet.
Distressing Discovery in Flight
The EVA Air BR67 flight from Bangkok to London began descending towards the capital city when the crew members discovered a passenger occupying one of the cabin bathrooms. As passengers were instructed to return to their seats and fasten their seat belts during descent, the crew approached the occupant and found him in a distressing state, indicating a suicide attempt.
Immediate First Aid Provided
The male passenger, who had sustained injuries, received prompt first aid from the cabin crew and an onboard doctor. Following stabilization, he was promptly transported to a hospital upon the plane’s landing at around 7:30 pm local time.
EVA Air confirmed the incident, but details regarding the man’s injuries and condition were not disclosed.
